Marc Fennell is an award-winning film critic, radio & tv broadcaster, media mischief-maker and a certifiable twitter-addict.

He is best known as "That Movie Guy" to the 1.4 million weekly listeners of Australia's national youth broadcaster triple j radio and the ABC’s Local Radio Network. On television, Marc is the weekly movie reviewer for Network Ten's morning chat show The Circle. He also investigates and critiques the worlds of media, culture, advertising and technology for the ABC's current affairs/comedy hybrid Hungry Beast.

After being one of the winners of the AFI Outstanding Young Film Critic Award in 2002, Marc spent 4 years as the resident film critic and reporter for Sydney radio station FBi 94.5. In 2004, he joined SBS Television's revamped The Movie Show where each week he dug up cult DVD's for 2 years. Marc was recruited to the triple j in 2006 to produce film content for both radio and later triple j tv on ABC TV.

In 2009, Marc co-wrote, produced and performed the live comedy show Massage My Medium with comedian Dan Ilic for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He also signed on to write his first book for Harper Collins due in 2011.

Marc has been a graphic designer, web developer, radio producer, columnist and social media coordinator. He's worked with the likes of Telstra Bigpond, The ABC, SBS, Network Ten, Paper Tiger Media Group, Fairfax Media, MySpace, Foxtel and The Movie Network.

Brendan Fraser once threw a newspaper at him – but hey – we all suffer for our art.
