review: monsters

Love in a time of Alien Infestation. Monsters is one of those great films that confounds your every expectation of what it should be. However, in order for it to work, you need to be in the right headspace...

trailer: mean girls 2

The mere existence of this direct-to-dvd sequel offends me. The lackluster trailer enrages me.

I hope Tina Fey is very angry/rich somewhere...

circle: due date

Robert Downey Jr and Zac Galifinakis (Man of a thousand and one versions of the same character) go a a road trippin' with the director of The Hangover. But is Due Date any good?

review: harry potter and the deathly hallows

circle: harry potter and the deathly hallows pt1

Yup, Harry is here in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1... but is it any good? Plus Naomi Watts in Fair Game. I was a bit tired this morning, sorry if I seem vague. Both of them reviewed right here...

trailer: battle: los angeles

Fantasticly atmospheric trailer for Battle: Los Angeles or as I am calling it Everything Skyline Wantred To Be But Never Will Be.

However... It's interesting to compare it to the International version. It gives more details but somehow just isnt as evocative...

Whaddya think? Got a preference...

review: skyline

I'm gonna go out on a limb here: If you've ever seen any alien invasion movie ever made, you probably don't need to see Skyline. However, if you want so see Turk from Scrubs with a permanent look of deer-in-headlights, then do I have the movie for you...

trailer: friends with benefits

This trailer actually looks pretty good. Okay... to clarify, the plot looks predictable as all hell, but the chemistry & dialogue look gold.

circle: jackass 3d + movie stunts gone wrong

Probably had a bit too much caffeine this morning... but hey... I look at the Jackass lads jump into the 3rd dimension and iconic cases where movie stunts have gone wrong.
