It's the first time I've ever given out a perfect star rating for a movie (though, there was much twitter debate about it, I assure you) My triple j review is down below. It's only 2min and is full of flashy sounds. If the above player isn't showing up you can right-click & download the MP3 of the review here.
Also, if you feel so inclined, I also reviewed it for The Circle on Network Ten
I'd love to know what you thought about the flick in the comments section - I'd also love to know what you would consider a 5/5 movie? Or whether you think such a thing exists at all? And if it does what makes something 5/5 for you? Or are all star ratings bullshit (I think they are, but they're a useful signpost for people to remember at the end of a review)
And - as always - you can subscribe to the reviews at the triple j movies podcast. (No iTunes? head here)

5 Stars doesn't mean perfect to me, the only way I describe it is as a film that makes impacts you profoundly, whether it makes you laugh, cry or just gets stuck in your head and under your skin.
They're the rare few that just stay with you for whatever reason is personal for you. 5 stars isn't a grade on the film, it's a statement that says "this film means something to me".
Yup - even by those standards this film still nails it.
I like your note about the difficulty of getting this effect in animation.
Or maybe it's an indicator that the humans we see on film aren't quite as special as we imagined.
I cried for the final fifteen minutes of Toy Story 3. I loved it! And usually I hate cartoons because they confuse me. I thought Nemo and his dad were the same fish for 3/4 of Finding Nemo.
Spot on review Marc. Loved loved loved everything about this movie. And when it comes to animation, I share your opinion - the brilliance of these people being able to create such emotion and feeling always amazes me. Left this movie feeling happy with the world!
