It turns out the Sweden is more than just the home of Alan key-assembled storage solutions. It's also a hotbed of ritualistic killings and neo-nazi sympathies. Who knew? Check out my review of dark Scandinavian thriller The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo down below. If the above player isn't showing up you can right-click & download the MP3 of the review here. If you've had a chance to see it, I'd love to know what you thought in the comments section.

One word - trash (the film, that is). More words - sub-telemovie trash, will almost certainly rate as one of the worst films of the year for me. Why? Total lack of believability, totally staged constructs, totally gratuitous sex and violence that do nothing to forward the narrative, a silly Nazi theme that beggars belief. To top it all off, the visuals are shit - murky, grainy digital. The girl is simply a string of cliches. The books have a high reputation, so I don't know where they went wrong, but wrong is where they went.
i want to see this. last swedish film i saw was 'let the right one in' with the vampire children. crazzzy good.
hollywood always seems to be quick to annouce a remake for all those too lazy to read the subtitles. You can't beat the feel of Stockholm though
