An all-singing, all-dancing indigenous extravaganza? I can't tell you how much I wanted to love this movie. Maybe my expectations were too high but... well, have a listen to the review down below, its only 2 min.

Great review and I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who rated it as low as 2 out of 5. I think you've nicely demonstrated why Bran Nue Dae is less than fantastic as well as pointing out the good stuff too. Like you I was really willing this to be a good film but, as you can see from my review, I came away with similar feelings to you.
