marc fennell breaks outta prison.

Yes, after a ridiculously busy week at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival with our much-lauded, beloved, controversial, headline-making and award-winning comedy show Massage My Medium, I'm now back with another severely reductive episode of Flicked. Nice to see you too. This week sees the release of the excellent The Escapist. It gave me pause to look back at prison flicks... well, three prison flicks at least. Feel free to add more of your favourites in the comment section

reviewed : tokyo zombies dvd

So, we're about to enter the blockbuster season with Wolverine, Star Trek, Terminator Salvation and any number of mega-budget cinemapaloozzataculars. But before we got into it, I thought it might be nice to christen the season with a Japanese DVD that is essentially the exact opposite of those movies. In fact Tokyo Zombies can charitably be described as moronic. Brilliantly so.  This 2 minute review may in fact be the most fun I've had making radio all year*

Lindsay Lohan is recently single and looking for love.

marc fennell vs. nazi porn (kinda)

Nazis. They make for great movies. They're bad in practically every other way but cinema seems to be really into them. Go figure. Without further adieu, I present this week's highly controversial Flicked

Sorry been a bit slack with the blog recently. blame job stuff, and book stuff and (aweosome) melbourne comedy festival stuff. But to make it up to you.. enjoy this incredibly nerdy/humourous Simpsons screencap.

star trek reviewed

My first radio review of the brand spanking new Star Trek. Check it out below. Its my first week back on Evenings with Andrew Daddo on ABC 702 Sydney in the last two weeks. We also talk Twitter and The Boat that Rocked.

Also, just a slight clarification- my star ratings are out of Five not Ten. I think missed that. Have your say below, too:) Star Trek is out in May.

Adam Elliott, the filmmaker behind Oscar winning animation Harvie Krumpet is back with his first feature film, but is it really a feature film? *insert mysterious incidental music here*
