I loved it, and I wasn't really all that excited by it during the lead up. I thought it was such a good exploration of the darker, more confusing side of childhood, and of family- particularly relationships between brothers and sisters. It looked good, sounded good (not a particular fan of Karen O either, but again, impressed) and I left with it still circulating around in my head, making me think for a few weeks, which is what I reckon a good movie should do.
I loved how it started but found it lost steam it was visually amazing and it reinforces that Spike Jonez is one of the most original American directors. It was surprising how deep it was considering its supposesed intended audience.
This movie was absolutely everything I could have hoped for it to be. Straight to the top of my favourites for the year.
That said, click my username for a funny little Youtube parody.
