Thought it might be time to dip into the DVD basket this weekend cos there's been so many big screen flicks in the last coupla months (and there will be more in the next few weeks). Let The Right One In is a killer vampire flick that's been rightly getting some massive props in film festivals around the globosphere - and now you can nab it on DVD.

Let the right one in is Amazing. It is a shame it came out when it did because too many people are locked in a Twlight bubble (we vampires are offened at the suggestion we sparkle).
Let the right one in probes into the emotions of the characters; even the more minnor ones without feeling like it goes overboard (with a few exceptions). On the other hand it also has enough action, gore and anger to make it more than just another "but mummy I don't want to sparkle" twilight.
I am personally saddened by the way that americans seem unable to read (subtitles) and have to make a remake. It's not that all remakes are bad it's just that they really take away the glory from the original films.
In conclusion I hope I never meet Eli in a dark alleyway.
