Great choice of topic; reboots are becoming pretty commonplace in this decade.
It's a shame that they feel the need for reboots to occur after one failed installment, like you say. I'm sure you're aware of the whole Incredible Hulk "remaquel" business, but apparently they're planning another one for the Superman franchise as well. I guess Bryan Singer painted them into a corner with some of the plotlines in Returns, but still.
